Software Development Engineer (Manufacturing Systems)

What you will do

• Lead or participate in the design, coding, code review, testing, and release of manufacturing systems including MES, SCADA, WMS, and CMMS.
• Analyze factory processes such as production planning, process routing, quality control, and equipment management to design application solutions.
• Coordinate system integration and testing for ERP, MES, equipment data collection, and related application interfaces.
• Prepare and review requirements analyses, system designs, unit test plans, release notes, and user guides.
• Gather requirements from production, operations, quality, and other business departments, and collaborate with technical teams and partners to deliver projects.
• Research and introduce technologies that improve manufacturing system architecture and performance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience; manufacturing IT experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET development framework, with development experience in Python and/or Java.
• Strong knowledge of factory manufacturing processes and experience with MES, ERP, or related manufacturing system integration is preferred.
• Solid database and SQL skills; familiarity with WPF, application, and web development technologies.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, unless substituted by relevant experience.
• Good English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills are required.
