Rust Developer (Exchange OS Trading Engine)

What you will do

• Design and build a unified account and matching system for perpetuals, spot, and prediction markets.
• Implement on-chain order matching, cross-margin validation, settlement, liquidation, and risk-engine mechanics.
• Build ExchangeOS staking and venue-creation infrastructure for institutions and Web3 protocols launching decentralized exchanges.
• Optimize parallel transaction execution, low-latency order pipelines, throughput, and engine- and chain-level latency.
• Track high-performance perpetual DEX architectures and apply relevant blockchain and trading-system practices.
• Work with product and business teams to translate exchange requirements into technical designs and provide ongoing technical support.

Requirements

• Strong Rust proficiency and hands-on experience with high-performance, low-latency systems.
• Deep knowledge of exchange and matching-engine mechanics, including order books, margin systems, liquidation, ADL, settlement, and risk engines.
• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including consensus, P2P networking, and cryptography.
• Experience with profiling, memory and allocator tuning, and designing systems for sub-millisecond latency at scale.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and logical reasoning skills, with an interest in trading systems and blockchain technology.

Nice to have

• Experience with parallel or concurrent execution engines.
• Familiarity with perpetual, spot, or prediction market products.
• Experience reading core code of Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Hyperliquid, Solana, or other major L1/L2 systems.
