Senior and Staff Engineers (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Design and implement backend synchronization and networking systems for reliable AI operations across edge devices and cloud-isolated environments.
• Architect data synchronization frameworks using content-addressable storage, Merkle trees, and CRDTs.
• Optimize, debug, and tune distributed software under resource constraints and intermittent connectivity.
• Apply threat modeling, secure key management, and cryptographic primitives and protocols.
• Collaborate with MLOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to deploy AI components in restricted and air-gapped systems.
• Contribute to architecture, documentation, testing, observability, and compliance-readiness practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with backend systems languages such as C++, C, Go, or Rust.
• Experience with peer-to-peer or decentralized networking frameworks.
• Understanding of distributed and decentralized systems, including synchronization and networking concepts.
• Ability to work with security-focused system design and cryptographic protocols.
• Development is performed in Rust; prior Rust experience is not mandatory, with the opportunity to learn on the job.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed hash tables, content identifiers, gossip protocols, DAGs, overlay networks, or NAT traversal.
• Experience with technologies similar to IPFS or torrents.
