Associate Manager, Social Media

Location: New York, NY, United States. Hybrid working environment with flexibility between remote and in-office work, plus regular NYC field activity, event attendance, occasional travel, and some evening or weekend work.

What you will do

• Create and publish platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Capture photo and video content on an iPhone at events, activations, shoots, and cultural moments.
• Edit short-form videos with CapCut and other social-first tools using raw footage, creator content, UGC, and brand assets.
• Monitor internet culture, creators, community conversations, and emerging trends relevant to hirify.global.
• Track content performance, support creative testing, and contribute to weekly and monthly reporting.
• Manage the content calendar, coordinate approvals and deliverables, and collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Product Marketing, PR, Partnerships, Member Love, creators, agencies, and external partners.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, community management, content creation, or a related field, including internships or freelance work.
• Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, emerging platforms, internet culture, dating and relationships, entertainment, and creators.
• Comfort appearing on camera, capturing content independently with an iPhone, and approaching people in real-world environments.
• Experience with short-form video editing or a strong interest in developing editing skills.
• Strong writing, organization, attention to detail, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
• Flexibility to attend events, activations, and cultural moments outside traditional working hours, including some evenings and weekends.
