Treasury Consultant (Fintech)

Location: Pune, India; predominantly on-site consultancy with an adaptable home-office model and 30–50% travel

What you will do

• Gather and confirm requirements with clients and internal development and client-experience teams.
• Design, develop, configure, and implement technical and functional solutions in Quantum.
• Support Treasury Management System implementations across front-, mid-, and back-office operations, including Nostro, collateral, and risk management.
• Provide treasury expertise, resolve product issues, re-engineer client processes, and deliver user training.
• Execute professional-services contracts, including consulting engagements, proposals, statements of work, and prospect presentations.
• Develop database knowledge and reporting capabilities using MS SQL, web interfaces, and report-writing tools.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in finance or treasury, with strong knowledge of treasury processes and solution implementations.
• Experience in consulting and/or software application implementations, with a good understanding of financial markets.
• Knowledge of IIS, accounting practices, IFRS9, CVA/DVA, deal and back-office interfaces, and financial instruments such as FX, money-market products, securities, repos, and derivatives.
• Understanding of ISDA/CSA margining, mark-to-market valuation, yield curves, duration, PV01, option pricing, and Greeks.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel financial functions, add-ins, and macros, plus strong knowledge of databases, especially MS SQL, and web interfaces.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% or as needed and deliver predominantly on-site consultancy.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an agile development environment with developers and testing personnel.
• Agile Scrum experience.
• Knowledge of database procedures and Crystal Reports.
