Senior Backend Engineer (Python/Django)

What you will do

• Architect and develop new backend features in collaboration with the product team.
• Optimize existing features to improve speed and reliability.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration test suites.
• Deploy production changes frequently.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building backend applications with modern web frameworks.
• Experience with Python and Django or Node.js.
• Ability to analyze code performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, or Redshift.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Airflow or other task workflow systems.
• Experience building data pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code experience and familiarity with AWS.
• Frontend experience with React.
