Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Remote services for providers licensed in Alabama, United States; availability required Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm.

Compensation for Alabama service delivery: $52–$54 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide student-centered, IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations using clinical assessment tools and automated reporting resources.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, monitor, and refine Individualized Education Programs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and manage cases for Speech Only students when required.
• Track session data, monitor student progress, and prepare goal-oriented progress reports.
• Deliver AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.

Requirements

• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Active SLP license in Alabama required.
• At least one year of full-time, post-CFY school-based experience with IEP-directed therapy and evaluations.
• Experience with the IEP process, educational eligibility determinations, and comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Proficiency with virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.
• Availability during standard school hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of experience for case management assignments.
• Experience with Medicaid billing systems.
• Multilingual fluency.
