Mobile App Developer (Android Automotive)

What you will do

• Design and implement Android applications for automotive infotainment systems.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements definition through maintenance and enhancement.
• Design unit tests, debug applications, and fix defects.
• Investigate and prototype new concepts for automotive products.
• Provide technical leadership to junior developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with Java, Objective-C, C, or C++.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDKs, design patterns, application architecture, and object-oriented design.
• Experience publishing Android applications in production environments.
• Experience with source control, unit testing, agile development, UNIX environments, REST, JSON, and RxJava.
• Strong debugging, presentation, interpersonal, communication, and technology-vision advocacy skills.
• Bachelor's degree in automotive software, embedded software, computer science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unity 3D Engine, embedded systems, or automotive software.
• Innovation demonstrated through patents, academic papers, or products.
