Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: On-site in Sunnyvale, CA

Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 per year

What you will do

• Architect and implement the platform layer from bootloader through system software.
• Manage software lifecycle including packaging, upgrades, and high availability.
• Design and implement telemetry and debug infrastructure.
• Collaborate with hardware vendors on requirements and specifications.
• Develop hardware validation and stress testing suites.
• Deploy observability and metrics stacks for embedded systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Linux Kernel, drivers, and platform bring-up.
• Strong programming skills in C, Python, and Bash.
• Experience with software lifecycle management on embedded systems.
• Proficiency with cloud orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of bare-metal provisioning technologies (DHCP, PXE, IPMI).
• Understanding of Secure Boot chains and SELinux policy creation.

Nice to have

• FIPS and CC certification experience.
• Rust programming experience.
