Member of Technical Staff (AI Robotics)

Location: San Francisco, CA; must be able to work in San Francisco

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Develop and train Vision-Language-Action Models and generalist visuomotor policies for automating supply-chain tasks.
• Build robotic foundation models, general-purpose robotic AI models, and reinforcement learning algorithms for multi-agent robot fleets.
• Develop data collection pipelines and collect custom datasets.
• Design data annotation and labeling processes.
• Train models using simulation environments and open-source datasets.
• Support implementation of trained models in production systems.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Robotics or Computer Science.
• Experience training deep learning models for robotic manipulation or mobility.
• Experience working with real robotic hardware.
• Experience training models in simulation and developing simulation environments.
• Strong track record of publishing papers or deploying real-world applications.
• Experience with system architecture, design, and development.
