Salary: $140,021–$181,845 annually; the posted range is specific to Washington State.

What you will do

  • Manage assigned government contracts, subcontracts, grants, funding opportunities, service agreements, and task orders.
  • Act as the primary interface with external government and commercial customers’ contracts organizations.
  • Support business development through agreement review and negotiation.
  • Monitor executed contracts with emphasis on compliance, change control, quality, cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Support subcontracting, contract process and tool development, training, and budget control.

Requirements

  • High-school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or an equivalent field is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of equivalent experience in technically oriented contracting.
  • Experience in contracting or a similar business-interface role; international experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.
  • High degree of trust and integrity, open communication, respect, and commitment to teamwork.
  • Applicants who are foreign nationals may be subject to U.S. Government export-control review and authorization requirements.

Nice to have

  • Direct contracting or engineering-scope experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Experience with U.S. Department of Energy National Laboratories and their operations.
  • Technical or subject-area background.
