Brand & Growth Lead (AI)

Location: San Francisco HQ; in person 5 days a week, with one company-wide remote week per month

Salary: $150,000–$300,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits

hirify.global is a San Francisco-based public benefit research company developing AI interpretability methods to understand, debug, and shape AI systems.

What you will do

• Own hirify.global’s social media strategy and execution, especially its presence on X.
• Build a distinctive, high-credibility public presence that increases awareness of hirify.global and its capabilities.
• Translate complex AI research into threads, essays, blog posts, and explainers for technical audiences.
• Drive measurable inbound demand and recruiting interest through brand and content initiatives.
• Shape hirify.global’s external narrative, including its capabilities, importance, and view of the field’s future.
• Partner with founders and researchers to amplify their voices and turn their ideas into public-facing content.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in brand, marketing, communications, growth, or adjacent roles; candidates from AI research without a traditional marketing background are also considered.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Demonstrated success building audiences and driving social media engagement.
• Familiarity with the AI landscape and the narratives shaping the field.
• Strong judgment in messaging, storytelling, and public communication.
• Excellent long-form and short-form writing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI, machine learning, developer tools, or research-driven companies.
• Experience working with researchers or technical founders.
• Early-stage startup experience.
• Experience communicating with technical audiences in life sciences or biotech.
