Software Development Engineer III - DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Build and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Design, implement, and roll out DevOps tooling and automation.
• Manage multi-environment AWS infrastructure with Dockerized microservices, ECS, data stores, and queueing technologies.
• Provision infrastructure and reduce manual effort using Terraform, Ansible, and related automation tools.
• Improve observability, availability, reliability, performance, and cloud cost efficiency.
• Lead incident response improvements, troubleshooting, postmortems, and cross-team operational practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, preferably EKS, including cluster architecture, networking, autoscaling, scheduling, ingress controllers, storage, and workload troubleshooting.
• In-depth Docker experience, including networking, storage, orchestration, deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting, microservices, Bash or Python scripting, CI/CD tools, and SQL and NoSQL database performance optimization.

Nice to have

• AWS professional certification.
• Experience deploying and managing machine learning models and developing data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and other distributed infrastructure components.
