Backend Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Singapore

Salary: SGD 180K–SGD 250K plus equity

What you will do

• Design and build core backend components for a high-performance generative AI platform.
• Ensure backend systems are efficient, scalable, and stable in their use of system resources.
• Analyze and optimize infrastructure efficiency for AI workloads across compute, storage, and networking.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on AI infrastructure development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with machine learning infrastructure such as PyTorch, Vertex AI, or SageMaker.
• Experience building, scaling, and optimizing enterprise-grade machine learning systems.
• Experience in AI or large-scale infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
