What you will do
- Process journal entries to the general ledger, including income distribution journals.
- Calculate and report total expense ratios and total cost ratios.
- Review daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc work performed by the team.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts with investment ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare trial balances, financial statements, and investor reports.
- Support audits, monitor fund compliance, communicate with stakeholders, and assist with fund onboarding and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Investment Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in fund accounting, investment administration, or financial services.
- Knowledge of asset management, financial markets, and financial instruments.
- Understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience implementing practical AI applications to improve processes is desirable.
Nice to have
- Experience with hedge funds, unit trusts, private equity, or pension funds.
- Familiarity with investment systems such as HiPortfolio.
