What you will do

• Drive product decisions by applying data analysis and causal reasoning within the product engineering team.
• Design, implement, and execute experiments to optimize marketplace performance.
• Analyze experimental results to derive actionable insights.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and metric-focused engineering across the organization.
• Develop statistical models to turn marketplace data into product tools.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong mathematical and statistical modeling skills.
• Ability to identify challenging problems, form testable hypotheses, and conduct impactful research.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in San Francisco, United States.
