Machine Learning Engineer (Big Data)

What you will do

• Explore large datasets and research algorithms and models for business problems.
• Design and code highly scalable machine learning applications that process large data volumes.
• Build and deliver machine learning-based data products in collaboration with data science, business, and engineering teams.
• Develop best practices and tools for robust feature delivery.
• Design and improve architecture to ensure horizontal scalability across system layers.

Requirements

• Strong background in machine learning, including algorithms and modeling techniques.
• 6+ years of overall software development experience, including 4+ years applying machine learning to concrete industry problems.
• Strong coding and software development skills with big data technologies and machine learning frameworks.
• Experience with Scala and Python.
• Experience with SparkML, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

Nice to have

• Understanding of distributed systems and large-scale engineering challenges.
• Experience with MongoDB, Redshift, Druid, Airflow, Jenkins, or Kinesis.
