Intern - Process Engineer (Plating)

What you will do

• Monitor and control plating processes to meet quality and yield targets.
• Manage plating facility issues, including DI water trends, LPC, contamination, chemical planning, and inventory.
• Oversee pretreatment, strip line, filter change, and descaling activities.
• Troubleshoot process deviations, thickness control issues, anodic protection, and line-to-line variation.
• Improve plating OEE, reduce speed losses, and identify efficiency opportunities through metric analysis.
• Support process parameter revisions, FMEA activities, risk assessments, and change control processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or another engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduate or 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Knowledge of computer applications, email, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Problem-solving knowledge of Six Sigma, DOE, FMEA, or 8D is required.
