Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in the San Jose or San Francisco offices, with remote work available within the U.S.

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 annually plus equity.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade portable cloud infrastructure across Azure, GCP, and Oracle.
• Deploy and operate applications using Kubernetes and Terraform across customer environments.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automate build, testing, deployment, release management, and infrastructure workflows.
• Develop reusable automation and self-service tooling for environment provisioning, secret rotation, dependency updates, compliance checks, and operational runbooks.
• Improve observability, security, reliability, and operational consistency across enterprise environments.
• Partner with product and platform engineers to remove infrastructure bottlenecks and enable safe delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud providers including Azure, GCP, and Oracle.
• Experience designing and owning CI/CD systems, pipeline architecture, GitOps deployments, release automation, and pipeline-as-code practices.
• Experience building DevOps automation frameworks using Bash, Python, workflow orchestration, and self-service tooling.
• Strong networking fundamentals and proven experience deploying and operating production systems.
• Experience owning complex infrastructure decisions and maintaining reliable foundational systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with FluxCD, ArgoCD, or other GitOps controllers.
• Knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps, including security gates, SBOM generation, and compliance checks in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in startup or big tech environments.
