Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/Terraform)

Location: Remote

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Drive GitOps practices and deployment automation using Flux.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve developer experience and reduce operational toil.
• Lead incident response, post-mortems, and reliability improvements.
• Evaluate and introduce tools that improve platform efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices and collaborate with senior engineers.

Requirements

• Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of systems and infrastructure.
• Experience with the full application release cycle, including CI/CD and GitOps; Flux experience is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux Shell.
• Programming experience in Python or Go is preferred.
• Expertise in a public cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; GCP is a major advantage.
• DevOps and infrastructure experience, strong communication skills, independent working ability, and system architecture planning skills.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science.
• Familiarity with AI coding and productivity tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot.
