Jr. Firmware Engineer (Embedded C)

What you will do

• Develop embedded software for vehicle modules and power-up strategies using C.
• Implement body-control power systems, closures, alerts, and diagnostic logging.
• Prototype algorithms for dynamic system calibration using noise feedback.
• Analyze CAN traffic with Vector CAN tools.
• Build libraries and drivers for onboard chips.
• Collaborate with sensor integration, closures engineering, and firmware validation teams on tickets, testing, and validation.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing and troubleshooting firmware.
• Expertise with C and/or C++ firmware in bare-metal applications.
• Familiarity with Microchip dsPIC/PIC 16-bit microcontrollers and microcontroller-driven electronics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and experience with PID motor control and tuning.
• Familiarity with Linux command line, scripting, GitHub or similar source-control systems, and firmware documentation.
