Senior/Staff System Validation Engineer

What you will do

• Define system-validation strategies for advanced semiconductor devices.
• Develop validation tools and laboratory test automation.
• Perform silicon and system bring-up, validation, and debugging, including customer systems.
• Evaluate logical operation, performance, durability, stress behavior, and overall device reliability.
• Support protocol compliance testing and collaborate with engineering teams on device and system issues.

Requirements

• Strong academic and technical background in electrical or computer engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience validating or developing complex SoC or silicon products for networking or server and storage applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of high-speed protocols including Ethernet, CXL, PCIe, and NVMe.
• Experience with Python, C, and C++ validation work.
• Experience with protocol analyzers, chambers, in-circuit debuggers, CPU-based tool suites, and laboratory automation.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, plan work, and operate with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Device-tree debugging, board system design, embedded firmware, and device-driver experience.
• Understanding of x86 and ARM architectures and UEFI/Linux boot sequences.
• Familiarity with CXL compliance standards and compliance testing from x86/ARM platforms.
• Experience debugging DDR4/DDR5 memory issues and improving SoC hardware/firmware calibration and tuning.
• Knowledge of memory-subsystem compliance, data integrity, RAS, schematic capture, or PCB layout tools such as Cadence and Altium.
