Operations Transformation Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Partner with Operations teams to understand workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design AI-powered automations.
• Develop scalable backend services and AI orchestration workflows using TypeScript, Node.js, LLMs, APIs, legacy systems, and data pipelines.
• Build internal operational tools and dashboards with real-time visibility into AI decisions and business processes.
• Create secure integrations between modern and legacy payment and operational architectures.
• Monitor API usage, model latency, solution performance, reliability, scalability, security, and operational metrics.
• Prototype, validate, and deploy solutions with cross-functional teams and measurable business impact.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Full Stack Development, or Solution Architecture.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience, plus the ability to work with object-oriented PHP applications and legacy architectures.
• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications with LLM APIs, function calling, semantic routing, RAG architectures, or vector databases.
• Knowledge of SQL, API design, cloud-native architectures, serverless services, and secure integration patterns.
• Experience building internal products, automation tools, or operational platforms that improve business efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, Agile delivery, and business-impact orientation.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, reconciliation, or regulated environments such as PCI-DSS, LGPD, or GDPR.
• Familiarity with Retool, Superblocks, Streamlit, Airflow, n8n, Make, Docker, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience integrating microservices with legacy monoliths and exposing legacy capabilities through REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of observability, telemetry, AI cost optimization, and monitoring for production AI workloads.
