What you will do

  • Supervise daily construction and installation activities and coordinate subcontractors, technicians, and trade personnel.
  • Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards, and inspection requirements.
  • Plan one-week lookaheads and next-day activities, verify work-front readiness, and monitor workforce productivity and installation progress.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, equipment, vendors, forwarders, and subcontractors throughout the logistics process.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings, monitor permit-to-work compliance, and escalate site, resource, shortage, outage, and damage issues.
  • Provide progress updates, support site reports, meetings, inspections, testing, commissioning, punch-list closure, and defect rectification.

Requirements

  • Diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–8 years of site supervision experience.
  • Experience supervising subcontractors and installation crews.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and installation details.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Availability to work on site in Batam, Indonesia.

Nice to have

  • Data center construction and fit-out experience.
  • Structured cabling and fibre optic installation experience.
  • Telecommunications, network deployment, MEP, or critical infrastructure project experience.
  • Oil and gas or shipping construction experience.
