Director of Fulfillment Center Operations (E-commerce)

What you will do

• Own the fulfillment center’s P&L, operational performance, and targets for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Plan labor and inventory capacity for fluctuating domestic and international inbound freight volumes.
• Lead and develop Senior Operations Managers, Area Managers, and a multi-tiered leadership organization.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methods to reduce waste, improve throughput, and update SOPs.
• Partner with Engineering and Software teams to evaluate and integrate automation and equipment.
• Align site operations with supply chain, transportation, people, and vendor management stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fulfillment, manufacturing, or distribution; e-commerce experience is preferred.
• 5+ years managing salaried leaders and experience overseeing teams of more than 300 people.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or an analytical Business discipline.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience optimizing complex operational systems.
• Ability to work on-site at the Nanticoke, Pennsylvania fulfillment center.
