Salesforce – Functional Application Architect (Order Fulfillment & Integrations)

Salary: $105,600–$145,200 per year; bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end order fulfillment processes across Salesforce Order Management and related platforms.
• Define data mappings and interface contracts between Salesforce and downstream fulfillment systems.
• Translate business requirements and epics into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Govern cross-system data flows and integration patterns for reliable order orchestration.
• Lead design discussions across global time zones and resolve dependencies between sales, logistics, and support teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong focus on Salesforce Order Management and CRM platforms.
• Experience integrating with downstream ERP, WMS, or service provisioning systems.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable functional designs and interface specifications.
• Understanding of REST APIs, event-driven integrations, and batch processing.
• Experience working in agile frameworks with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-volume enterprise order processing and logistics environments.
• Familiarity with partial shipments, backorders, and digital provisioning.
• Proficiency with Postman for API validation.
