Salesforce Functional Application Architect (Order Fulfillment & Integrations)

Salary: $105,600–$145,200 per year; bonus eligible; not commission eligible.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end order fulfillment processes across Salesforce Order Management and related platforms.
• Define data mappings and interface contracts between Salesforce and downstream fulfillment systems.
• Translate complex business requirements and epics into user stories with clear acceptance criteria for agile delivery.
• Govern cross-system data flows and integration patterns for resilient, fault-tolerant, and consistent order orchestration.
• Lead design discussions across global time zones and resolve dependencies between sales, logistics, and support teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong focus on Salesforce Order Management and CRM platforms.
• Experience collaborating with downstream fulfillment systems such as ERP, WMS, or service provisioning platforms.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable functional designs and interface specifications.
• Understanding of integration patterns including REST APIs, event-driven processing, and batch processing.
• Hands-on experience working in agile frameworks with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-volume, enterprise-scale order processing and logistics environments.
• Familiarity with partial shipments, backorders, digital provisioning, and other complex fulfillment scenarios.
• Proficiency using Postman for API validation.
