Business Analytics Developer

Location: Hybrid work in Westlake, Texas, or Austin, Texas; the role requires being together in person on a regular basis.

Salary: USD $42.07–$54.76 per hour

What you will do

• Partner with Trading Services stakeholders across trading products, platforms, trader segments, sales, education, and the Schwab Network.
• Clarify business needs, define analytical approaches and success measures, and align delivery with business priorities.
• Design, build, and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau.
• Develop SQL-based queries, datasets, and reporting assets in accordance with enterprise data standards.
• Translate analytical findings into concise, business-relevant communications for partners and leaders.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and process improvements while collaborating with data engineering, governance, and analytics teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data analysis.
• Experience supporting business partners in a consultative or liaison capacity, with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience translating business questions into structured queries and analyses.
• Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reports with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms or enterprise data environments such as BigQuery or Oracle.
• Experience working with product, technology, or data engineering teams in a matrixed organization.
