Embedded Software Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid in Tukwila, Washington, United States

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 per year, plus 0.01%–0.05% equity

What you will do

• Build high-performance embedded software for satellite systems.
• Develop software for relative navigation, robotics, grappling, and proprietary spacecraft mechanisms.
• Control technologies that enable satellites to interact with other spacecraft.
• Create core software technologies for use across multiple satellite systems.
• Develop software for different compute hardware and architectures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working on embedded software products.
• Experience creating and working with HIL and PIL systems.
• Working knowledge of Python and C++.
• Must be a U.S. person or eligible for the required ITAR authorizations.
• Willingness to work from Tukwila, Washington in a hybrid setup.
• B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar field.
