Embedded Systems Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance firmware for a dexterous robotic hand.
• Own the electronic system, including characterization, troubleshooting, reliability, and performance optimization.
• Lead the development and integration of multimodal tactile, pressure, and proprioceptive sensing systems.
• Manage compliance and certification workflows such as CE and RoHS.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• Professional experience developing embedded firmware in C/C++.
• Strong understanding of real-time operating systems and low-level driver development.
• Experience with sensing modalities and sensor fusion techniques.
• Experience with PCB design and schematic capture for complex electronics.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects from concept through production; proficiency in English required.

Nice to have

• Mechanical prototyping and rapid iteration experience, including 3D printing or CAD modeling.
• Experience with robotics middleware and interfacing embedded firmware with high-level control or planning stacks.
