Avionics Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; onsite evening shift, Monday to Thursday, 15:00–01:30. Relocation assistance is available if required.

What you will do

• Build and assemble electronic components for the Electron launch vehicle.
• Assemble high-voltage batteries and construct wire harnesses.
• Perform precision soldering on PCBs and avionics components.
• Operate electrical, mechanical, and automated test equipment.
• Inspect PCBs and wiring assemblies and manufacture components to high workmanship standards.

Requirements

• Trade qualification in a relevant industry or at least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with precision electrical and/or mechanical assembly.
• Working knowledge of standard industry ESD policies.
• Good eyesight for inspecting PCBs and wiring assemblies.
• Ability to perform soldering and wire harnessing to a high workmanship standard.
• For New Zealand roles, background and nationality checks apply because the position involves equipment and data regulated by ITAR.
