Sr. Assembly Engineer

What you will do

• Monitor and improve supplier performance across technology, quality, response, delivery, and cost.
• Investigate assembly quality issues, identify root causes, and implement timely corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Audit assembly suppliers, conduct quarterly performance reviews, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor assembly yield, defect modes, SPC, work-in-progress, cycle time, and on-time delivery.
• Assess wafer incoming risks and disposition lots held because of assembly issues.
• Coordinate failure analysis and qualification activities for new suppliers, materials, packages, and assembly processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of general assembly processes and quality assurance controls, including 8D/CAR, FMEA, and SPC.
• Basic knowledge of failure analysis and reliability concepts.
• Fluent English writing and speaking skills.
