Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (Hydrogen Manufacturing)

Salary: $135,000–$158,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, audits, performance management, and supplier development.
• Define supplier quality requirements, scorecards, corrective action processes, and incoming inspection plans.
• Drive root cause investigations, failure analysis, and corrective and preventive actions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support supplier process validation, APQP, PPAP, manufacturing readiness, and component traceability.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to resolve production quality issues and improve process capability.
• Analyze quality trends and support NCR, IQC, MRB, and CAPA processes while promoting operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality engineering.
• Experience managing supplier quality performance in a hardware manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, control plans, and process validation.
• Experience with supplier audits, incoming inspection, NCR, MRB, CAPA, and supplier corrective actions.
• Experience working in ISO 9001-compliant environments and applying structured root cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth startup.

Nice to have

• Experience with contract manufacturers and global supplier networks.
• Experience with electrochemical, hydrogen, energy, industrial equipment, or related systems.
• ASQ CSQP, CQE, CQA, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
