What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure features for the Keeper Browser Extension.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver user-focused solutions.
- Apply test-driven development, write unit and integration tests with Jest, and participate in code reviews.
- Improve browser extension performance, reliability, security, load times, memory management, and responsiveness.
- Maintain the existing codebase by fixing bugs, adding features, refactoring, and resolving technical debt.
- Track modern web development, browser extension, and cybersecurity practices and identify process improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of JavaScript development experience with strong knowledge of core JavaScript concepts.
- 3+ years of experience with React, Redux, Jest, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience developing browser extensions, including cross-browser compatibility and browser APIs.
- Experience with Webpack, Git, CI/CD pipelines, frontend architecture, component-based development, and state management.
- Experience writing comprehensive unit and integration tests and maintaining large, scalable codebases.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and remote collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with security technologies, browser security, data protection, and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience optimizing browser extension performance and familiarity with HTML, CSS, web standards, and accessibility best practices.
