Regional Head of HR Operations, EMEA & APAC

Location: France or Germany, within commuting distance of an hirify.global office — Lyon, Ulm, Berlin, or Hamburg. Candidates outside the listed countries must be willing to relocate to France or Germany.

What you will do

• Lead HR Operations expertise across EMEA and APAC, advising on operational excellence, governance, and employment compliance.
• Translate local legal and operational requirements into scalable global HR processes and lead regional deployment of policies, systems, and governance frameworks.
• Drive process simplification, harmonization, automation, Employee Self-Service, Manager Self-Service, and digital adoption across the employee lifecycle.
• Support restructurings, acquisitions, workforce transitions, and other business transformations with operational guidance.
• Partner with Payroll, Legal, Finance, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated HR services.
• Maintain data integrity, audit readiness, operational controls, risk mitigation, service performance, and external provider relationships while guiding a small HR Operations team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading HR Operations across multiple countries in EMEA and APAC within complex multinational environments.
• Strong knowledge of international employment law, HR operations, HRIS platforms, payroll, data privacy, governance, and operational controls.
• Experience implementing HR technology, standardizing processes, and enabling ESS, MSS, and workflow automation.
• Ability to balance local compliance with global standards and advise senior stakeholders on operational risk.
• Experience influencing across functions and cultures in a matrix organization and developing small teams while remaining hands-on.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field; fluent English required.

• Experience supporting both European and Asia-Pacific countries.
• French and/or German language skills.
