Salary: $115,000–$145,000 annually

What you will do
- Build system-level models and simulations to evaluate spacecraft performance across multiple subsystems.
- Own analyses in areas such as structures, loads and dynamics, thermal, radiation, reliability, power, fluids, MMOD, demise, or optical brightness.
- Perform trade studies and sensitivity analyses to optimize spacecraft performance, mass, and reliability.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, GNC, and software teams on design and integration decisions.
- Define analysis-driven requirements, margins, verification strategies, and test-correlation plans.
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute analytical recommendations to PDR and CDR reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering analysis experience; internships and relevant projects count.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience or academic exposure to at least one spacecraft analysis domain, including structural, thermal, radiation, reliability, power, MMOD, fluids, or optical analysis.
- Familiarity with engineering simulation tools such as FEA, thermal modeling, MATLAB, or Python.
- Strong foundations in physics-based modeling, numerical methods, and engineering principles.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR regulations.
Nice to have
- Experience with ANSYS, NASTRAN, Thermal Desktop, COMSOL, MATLAB/Simulink, or Python.
- Experience applying analysis to aerospace hardware, multidisciplinary optimization, model validation, or test correlation.
- Familiarity with space-environment effects, high-reliability systems, or safety-critical engineering.
- Experience integrating analysis workflows with CI/CD or automated pipelines.
- Prior experience at a space, aerospace, or deep-tech organization.
