Salary: $100,000–$140,000 USD per year

What you will do
- Own spacecraft systems engineering across the product lifecycle, from concept and design through manufacturing, testing, and verification.
- Define and manage subsystem specifications, interface control documents, system requirements, architectures, and verification methods.
- Design and integrate propulsion, power, communications, and thermal-control subsystems with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Perform technical analyses, simulations, system trade studies, and satellite mass, power, and link-budget assessments.
- Coordinate technical requirements with government and commercial customers and lead system design reviews.
- Develop test plans, execute verification and validation activities, and resolve technical issues during development and testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of systems engineering experience related to spacecraft or similar disciplines.
- Familiarity with satellite systems, subsystems, requirements mapping and decomposition, program lifecycles, test events, and verification and validation.
- Experience or familiarity with MATLAB, SolidWorks, STK, Linux, and satellite system budgets.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance are required.
- Applicants must meet U.S. space-technology export-control requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.
