Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Powder

Annual base salary: $99,584–$136,929

What you will do

• Support titanium powder preparation, movement, removal, control, traceability, and post-print part handling.
• Manage powder lots, supplier traceability, job assignments, and MES/ERP transactions in Epicor and shop-floor systems.
• Set up, qualify, and implement powder-handling and post-print equipment, including documenting equipment IQ activities.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and operator guidance.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to operators, technicians, and production teams.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, and material-flow issues while supporting DOE, process characterization, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in a production and process-support environment.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; aerospace, defense, or medical-device experience is relevant.
• Experience with equipment setup, qualification, IQ documentation, and production readiness.
• Ability to write clear work instructions, technical documentation, and manufacturing procedures.
• Experience with ERP and MES systems, plus strong process-data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work safely in a controlled powder-handling environment with required PPE, including respirator use.

Nice to have

• Additive manufacturing, metal powder handling, powder control, or post-print operations experience.
• Titanium, powder metallurgy, or materials-processing experience.
• Experience with DOE, Minitab, process validation, or statistical analysis.
• Experience with production ramp-up, manufacturing scale-up, or equipment transfer into operations.
