Design Engineer (TypeScript)

Location: New York, NY; on-site, 5 days a week in the office

Base salary: $175,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity and performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Prototype product ideas quickly and turn concepts into production-ready experiences.
• Build polished user interfaces in TypeScript.
• Develop and refine small interactions, micro-animations, and visual details.
• Work across design, product, and frontend engineering to deliver distinctive financial software.
• Lead and execute work spanning product design, prototyping, and frontend engineering.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a frontend engineer or design engineer.
• Strong TypeScript expertise.
• Experience working as a product designer.
• Comfort working in both Figma and code.
• Ability to work autonomously, collaborate closely, and investigate unfamiliar problems independently.
