TL;DR
R&D Intern / Praktikant (Surface Acoustic Wave/RF Engineering): Contributing to the development of microwave acoustic devices, CAD tools, and manufacturing processes with an accent on Surface Acoustic Wave fundamentals, RF design, and wafer-level packaging. Focus on designing and applying CAD tools, conducting process and reliability tests, and evaluating results for new acoustic device products.

What you will do

  • Contribute to the development of process technologies and products based on microwave acoustic technology.
  • Support the development of CAD tools for acoustic wave devices using established programming languages.
  • Contribute to process development projects for new products.
  • Prepare and conduct process and reliability test campaigns.
  • Evaluate and document test results in collaboration with the R&D team.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or an equivalent discipline.
  • 0–3 years of working experience.
  • Basic knowledge of wave propagation physics and radio frequency design methods.
  • Basic understanding of wafer-level and component packaging technologies.
  • Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: C, Matlab, or Visual Basic.
  • Ability to prepare tests, evaluate and document results, and apply theoretical knowledge to engineering work.
