Sr. Cloud Security Engineer/Architect (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Implement, configure, and operate security controls across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud environments.
• Deploy and manage IAM, network security, CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, encryption, key management, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and alerting technologies.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code while troubleshooting and remediating cloud security issues.
• Identify cloud risks and misconfigurations, improve detection coverage, and respond to findings from monitoring, audits, scans, and incidents.
• Contribute to cloud security architecture, reference designs, technical standards, guardrails, and Architecture Review Board activities.
• Partner with IT, cloud platform, application, and security teams, communicate risks clearly, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of information security experience with a strong focus on hands-on cloud security engineering.
• Experience securing at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of IAM and directory services, network and firewall technologies, workload and endpoint protection, vulnerability and configuration management, logging, monitoring, and SIEM integration.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, and application fundamentals.
• Ability to collaborate with corporate IT and cross-functional engineering teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Cloud security architecture or reference-design experience.
• DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code experience, including multi-cloud environments.
• Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of NIST, CIS Benchmarks, or ISO 27001.
• Relevant cloud or security certifications such as AWS/Azure Security, CISSP, or CCSP.
