DC Licensed 1099 Mental Health Therapist (Teletherapy)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; active independent clinical licensure in DC required. Therapy hours operate from 8am to 3am ET, seven days a week.

Compensation: $91 per completed 60-minute intake session, $68 per completed 45-minute follow-up session, $30 per no-show appointment, and $60 per hour for training and all-hands meetings.

What you will do

• Deliver virtual therapy using evidence-based interventions including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
• Conduct biopsychosocial intakes, diagnostic assessments, and individualized treatment planning.
• Monitor and manage escalating risk scenarios in collaboration with leadership.
• Coordinate care with campus treatment providers, supervisors, peers, and administrative support staff.
• Maintain timely and accurate records of all clinical interactions.
• Provide care and support to college students through the Mantra care model.

Requirements

• Active independent clinical licensure in DC as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC.
• Ability to provide virtual therapy to college students.
• Experience conducting biopsychosocial intakes and clear diagnostic assessments.
• Ability to create appropriate treatment plans and treat a diverse student population.
• Ability to identify and manage escalating clinical risk.
• Reliable computer equipment with a quality video camera and stable internet connection.

Nice to have

• Multi-state clinical licensure.
• At least four hours of evening or weekend availability after 5:00 PM local time.
• Interest in cross-licensing opportunities.
