Senior Fullstack Python Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work model; the company is office-first, but no specific office location is provided.

What you will do

• Own and evolve backend APIs, use-case layers, domain models, serialization, and event-driven Kafka pipelines.
• Design architectural scaffolding for new product modules using Domain-Driven Design, hexagonal architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud resources, and Terraform infrastructure.
• Integrate mathematical optimization algorithms developed by Operations Research Engineers into the network planning product.
• Build AI capabilities by combining LLMs with the optimization engine and use code agents or AI assistants in daily development.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, testing, code reviews, continuous improvement, and mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with Python.
• Experience with modern frontend technologies and basic frontend development.
• Production experience with clean architecture, hexagonal architecture, ports-and-adapters, DDD, or similar approaches.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka or similar event-driven systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS or a similar cloud platform and Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong experience using code agents or AI assistants in daily software development, plus knowledge of unit, integration, and acceptance testing.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mathematical optimization or data-intensive applications.
