Senior Radar Software Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Remote. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Personnel Security Clearance is required.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for radar data collection, processing, analysis, and operational deployment.
• Build interfaces and services for sensor operations, telemetry, data management, and mission execution.
• Develop scalable software for radar control, monitoring, automation, and performance optimization.
• Integrate new capabilities with radar systems, signal processing, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Support software architecture, technical design reviews, system integration, verification, validation, and field testing.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to code reviews, documentation, and customer demonstrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming experience in Python, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and data-intensive applications.
• Experience with Linux-based development environments, software testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with radar, RF, signal processing, sensor data processing, telemetry, tracking, or real-time data systems.
• Experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Space Force programs.
• Experience with bare-metal systems, constrained compute environments, classified programs, or secure computing environments.
• Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret Personnel Security Clearance.
