TL;DR
Radar System Integration Engineer (Automotive Radar): Integrating and validating advanced mmWave imaging radar systems from requirements through customer deployment with an accent on functional flows, automated testing, and system-level performance. Focus on designing state-machine and end-to-end validation pipelines, debugging complex software/hardware interactions, analyzing latency and timing KPIs, and verifying automotive cybersecurity features.

What you will do
- Lead radar functional integration from system requirements through the full development lifecycle to client deployment.
- Define and execute end-to-end Integration Test Plans covering state machines, boot and initialization sequences, operating modes, and error handling.
- Measure, analyze, and optimize latency, frame timing jitter, frame drops, throughput, and other functional KPIs.
- Design scalable Python-based automated test benches and test suites.
- Investigate software crashes, bus communication anomalies, unexpected mode transitions, and software/hardware integration defects.
- Support system, software, and security architecture teams, while providing technical assistance to automotive customers and tier-1 partners.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical, Computer, Software, or Communication Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in multidisciplinary system integration, embedded software integration, or system validation.
- Strong understanding of functional system architecture, state machines, OS/RTOS fundamentals, inter-process communication, and embedded software/hardware interaction.
- Strong Python programming and scripting skills for automation, data parsing, and test development.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and shell scripting, functional KPI analysis, and root-cause investigation across software and hardware layers.
- Active practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
Nice to have
- Automotive cybersecurity experience, including ISO/SAE 21434, Secure Boot, HSM integration, MACsec, or SecOC.
- Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, PyTest, or other automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with 4D Imaging Radar or ADAS sensors such as LiDAR or cameras.
- Automotive or defense/aerospace experience.
