What you will do

• Build and evolve the agent runtime, including planning and execution loops, memory systems, tool calling, and multi-agent coordination.
• Develop event-driven orchestration services, RAG pipelines, Text-to-SQL capabilities, and tool invocation layers.
• Design secure tool execution environments and sandboxing mechanisms.
• Integrate LLM providers, embeddings, vector stores, connectors, and other model and data services.
• Implement observability and guardrails, including tracing, token-level logging, evaluation harnesses, safety filters, and policy enforcement.
• Build multi-tenant SaaS and enterprise or on-premise deployments with RBAC while improving scalability, resilience, and failure handling.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on backend engineering experience and experience building and scaling systems from scratch.
• Excellent command of Python, FastAPI, MongoDB, and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, system design, and API architecture.
• Experience with AWS is required; Azure is an advantage.
• Product-minded approach, ownership, initiative, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Depending on the role band, experience may include end-to-end system ownership, agent architecture, cloud-native development, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, tracing, mentoring, and design leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure.
• Experience with Go or Rust.
• Research-driven approach and contributions to open-source components.
