Experienced Process Integration Engineer (f/m/d)

Location: Hybrid onsite in Aachen, Germany, with close collaboration at a 300 mm manufacturing facility.

What you will do

• Develop and qualify process flows and integration schemes for integrated photonic devices.
• Plan, execute, and interpret process integration studies supporting technology maturation and transition to mass production.
• Lead small-to-medium integration and optimization projects while contributing to complex development programs.
• Design data collection strategies, analyze complex datasets, and translate observations into recommendations for process quality, manufacturability, and yield.
• Collaborate with Optical Design, System Design, Characterization, Graphene, Process Engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
• Define and refine process specifications and introduce evidence-based improvements in accordance with change-management protocols.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Process Integration experience within a semiconductor fab, ideally with 300 mm manufacturing.
• Experience leading projects in technology development, process optimization, yield improvement, defect reduction, or reliability enhancement.
• Strong expertise in FMEA, Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, and data analysis, with hands-on experience using JMP.
• Excellent English communication skills for analyzing complex data and presenting technical recommendations across teams.
• Project management skills and experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
