Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States; onsite at the corporate office

Salary: $124,050.32–$186,075.49 annual base salary, plus eligibility for a team incentive bonus and benefits.

What you will do

  • Lead the design, development, and validation of RF systems and subsystems for semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Analyze RF chains for gain, noise figure, linearity, and stability, and optimize matching networks for power transfer and signal integrity.
  • Develop RF PCB layouts with controlled-impedance routing, grounding strategies, and signal isolation.
  • Design and characterize RF resonators, filters, passive components, low-noise oscillators, and signal-generation circuits.
  • Perform network measurements and experimental testing using vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and related lab equipment.
  • Integrate RF subsystems with power, control, and electromechanical assemblies while supporting design reviews, verification, validation, suppliers, and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in RF and high-frequency hardware design.
  • Strong experience in RF system design and analysis, matching network design and tuning, RF PCB layout, and stack-up definition.
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment and a solid understanding of signal integrity, electromagnetic behavior, and noise mitigation.
  • Experience with technical design reviews and structured product development processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with semiconductor capital equipment, RF power delivery systems, plasma systems, oscillator design, frequency synthesis, resonators, or filters.
  • Experience with HFSS, CST, ADS, or similar 3D electromagnetic and RF simulation tools.
  • Experience with Altium, PADS, Creo Schematic, AutoCAD, Windchill, or other PLM systems.
  • Experience working with global or offshore engineering teams.
