Solutions Engineer (B2B SaaS)

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: CA$100K–CA$135K per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own technical scoping, proof-of-concepts, onboarding, and deployments for key customers.
• Design and implement complex, scalable workflows on the hirify.global platform.
• Work with sales during evaluations by demonstrating technical capabilities and building tailored prototypes.
• Translate customer requirements into product solutions and advise prospects and customers throughout the lifecycle.
• Surface customer insights and feature requests to product and engineering teams.
• Help define solutions engineering practices, improve implementation workflows, and mentor future team members.

Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions engineering, sales engineering, or customer success.
• Strong problem-solving skills in data-heavy or workflow-based systems.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript for writing and troubleshooting implementation scripts and logic.
• Basic familiarity with Python and the ability to build and debug APIs.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, resourceful, ownership-oriented approach in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with B2B SaaS platforms, workflow automation, or low-code/no-code tools.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers or complex implementations.
• Background in insurance, wealth management, lending, or other financial services.
• Experience creating technical documentation, demos, tutorials, or example applications.
