Senior Platform Engineer

Location: Full-time onsite in Warminster, Wiltshire, five days per week. Five years’ UK residency and eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) are mandatory.

What you will do

• Deploy and configure systems on MODCloud, D2S, and OpenShift.
• Manage Kubernetes environments, networking, connectivity, and security-aligned configurations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and repeatable environment configurations.
• Monitor platform health, diagnose infrastructure and deployment failures, and resolve operational issues.
• Support simulation, training, deployment, and virtualisation systems across modern and legacy environments.
• Apply SRE practices including observability, incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and Docker.
• Experience with distributed systems, CI/CD automation, GitOps, and tools such as ArgoCD.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, Zero Trust, service-to-service communication, and distributed connectivity.
• Ability to diagnose issues across infrastructure, networking, and application layers.
• Experience with Go or Python and shell scripting, plus practical SRE experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Warminster five days per week and meet the five-year UK residency requirement for SC clearance.
