Flight Support Engineer - Night Shift (Brazil)

Location: Remote, based in Brazil; availability required from 9pm to 5am BRT. Up to 50% of the time may be spent deployed at customer sites across Brazil after four weeks of initial training.

What you will do

• Support flight testing, customer success, and product operations during commercial aircraft deployments.
• Serve as Pilot in Command or Ground Control Operator for experimental and developmental unmanned aircraft.
• Lead or participate in ground and flight tests as a Test Conductor or Test Crew member.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues both on site and through remote support from engineering teams.
• Provide night-shift customer technical support from 9pm to 5am BRT, triage software and hardware bugs, and escalate critical issues.
• Recommend product improvements, manage flight-operation logistics, and coordinate with internal operators and customers.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge and preferably experience with flight operations involving manned aircraft or UAVs.
• Experience flying fixed-wing UAVs, model aircraft, or large multirotors.
• Experience with ground-control and mission-planning software.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, assembly, troubleshooting, and basic high-voltage safety; comfort working with 120 VDC and 20–30 kW systems.
• Familiarity with Linux, command-line usage, Git, Python, and C++.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Willingness to travel across Brazil and work independently for several weeks is required.
